How long does a lash lift last?
6–8 weeks. The lift relaxes naturally with the lash growth cycle.
Can I swim/sweat?
No water on the lashes for the first 24 hours; after that, swim freely.
What's the difference between a lash lift and extensions?
A lift curls your own lashes from the base — nothing is glued on, so there's no weight and no fills. Extensions add length and thickness. A lift is $100 and lasts 6–8 weeks.
Will a lift work on short or straight lashes?
Usually yes — straight lashes show the biggest change, since the curl opens the eye. Very short or sparse lashes get less dramatic results. We check length and eye shape at the consultation before we start.
Does a lash lift make lashes longer or thicker?
No. A lift changes the curl, not the length or the density — it just makes what you have read longer because it's standing up instead of pointing down. Add a tint for darker, fuller-looking lashes.
What happens as my lashes grow out?
Nothing dramatic. New lashes come in with your natural curl, so the lift fades gradually over 6–8 weeks instead of dropping off. There's no awkward line and no grow-out you have to hide.
I have sensitive eyes — can I still get the tint?
Often yes, but tell us first. Sensitivities are part of the consultation, and we can start with the lift alone at $100 and add the tint later. Call (908) 402-2310 if you'd rather talk it through before booking.
When can I wear mascara or eye makeup again?
After 24 hours. Keep lashes dry and product-free that first day, then wear what you like. Most people skip mascara entirely — the lift already gives that opened-up look, and a tint replaces the darkness.
How soon can I book my next lift?
Six to eight weeks — wait for the curl to relax fully rather than lifting already-lifted lashes. A tint alone lasts 4–6 weeks at $45, so book that in between if you want the depth back sooner.
