Does a peel hurt?

How should I prepare before my peel?
Stop retinol five days before, and let us know about any medications you're taking. Then come in for your free consult — that's really all the prep a light or medium peel needs.
I'm breaking out right now — can I still get a peel?
Often yes. Our Acne Clear Peel is a salicylic blend targeted at breakouts. The free consult confirms your skin is a good fit and picks the right peel for you before anything is booked.
It's my first peel and I'm a little nervous — what happens on the day?
You'll relax in the chair while we cleanse, map, apply and adjust at each step. Beforehand there's a free skin reading, and you leave with a personalised aftercare card so you know exactly what's next.
How long does a peel appointment take?
The free consult runs 15 minutes. Peels themselves take 30 to 45 minutes depending on the type — a light peel is 30, most others 45, including prep and a calming mask.
